Environment, Diet and Breast Cancer:
Take Charge of Your Health
This
workshop, presented by leaders in the field
of exploring cancer causes and prevention,
proposes that knowledge really is power. Recent
research suggests that behaviors that may prevent
breast cancer can also prevent recurrence.
This plenary session will explore what we can
do: becoming more aware of environmental issues
that may impact breast cancer, knowing what
constitutes healthful dietary practices, understanding
the importance of stress reduction and looking
at other lifestyle measures that can lower
risk and recurrence of breast cancer. |
